Brooke is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist originally from the Bay Area of California. Brooke completed Bachelors degrees in and Psychology and English at Sonoma State University before completing her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University. Prior to working in the mental health field, Brooke gained experience working with children and teenagers as a substitute teacher, animal assisted counselor and educational camp counselor. Brooke has worked with children and adolescents as a school-based therapist in Malibu, California while completing her degree, during which she worked with children and teens in grades K-12 and their families. Brooke has experience with individual clients as well as groups, and works primarily with clients dealing with symptoms of depression and anxiety. Brooke utilizes cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy techniques in conjunction with humanistic and strengths-based approaches to help clients lead value-based lives and strengthen their connections with others. Brooke runs groups in the intensive outpatient program at Engage, as well as the outpatient support group. In her free time, Brooke enjoys going to the beach, going for hikes, traveling to new places and spending time with her one-eyed cat, Sunny.
